Battle Creek Reads 2017: Allen Eskens and Jennifer Chiaverini

The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens and Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker by Jennifer Chiaverini are the 2017 Battle Creek Reads. The authors will visit Battle Creek and spend an evening discussing their books, writing processes, and answering questions from the audience. Their books will be for sale, and the authors will be signing their books.

During the summer of 2016 community members were able to read five nominated books and then vote for their favorites. These two books received the most votes. Willard Library hopes to encourage discussion among residents who have read the same books.
